Our Instructors
Working in three different states Mike has taught many students the art of flying. With all flight certifications, he also obtains a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Business Administration degree. Mike's total flight time is over 2800 hours and 1575 of it has been as a flight instructor. mjohnston@alpha-oneairservice.com
A veteran of the US Army, Arch has acquired a BS degree from Presbyterian College and started his flight instruction in 1970. He has experience as a LINK instructor, ground instructor and flight instructor at Burnside Ott Aviation Center and has been a flight instructor at Alpha-One for the past two years. ahudgins@alpha-oneairservice.com
Wayne is a physician with Carolinas Pathology Group in Charlotte. He holds many certifications and he obtained his CFI from Flight Safety Academy in Vero Beach, FL. He has been with Alpha-One for almost 2 years and has 933 hours of total flying time.
Mark started with Alpha-One in 2005. He is available for instruction in the evenings and on Saturdays.
Karl came to Alpha-One with a total of 2,600 hours and 1,200 as an instructor. His education includes Utah Valley State College, Allied Air-motive, LaGuardia Flying Service & Flight School, Teterboro Flight Academy and Flight Safety. Karl’s motivation to become a pilot came from his father being a pilot during WWII.
Bill started insructing at the Rowan County Airport in 1990. He is a state law enforcement agent and instructs part time for Alpha-One. He also flies corporate/charter flights and has a Citation Jet type rating. He has given over 1,000 hours of flight instruction. |
